Governance technology
Why is it necessary to talk about governance techniques now? It's because liberals only talk about the Politics of Representation, but nothing changes in reality. In terms of Social contract theory (Michel Foucault), as mentioned by 東浩紀, originally Rousseau's "Social contract theory" only talks about the general will in the beginning, and then discusses legislators and forms of government. 宇野重規 agrees completely with 東's interpretation of "Social contract theory." The first and second parts of "Social contract theory" emphasize the need to create laws based on the general will. However, in the third part, it discusses Government Form. This means that Popular Sovereignty and the form of government are separate. In an advanced example, there is vTaiwan, a system in which citizens directly check the exercise of power and guarantee "good governance."
